Welcome to West Branch Camp on Biscotasing Lake

We are a small fishing camp located on the shores of Biscotasing Lake in North-central Ontario. We offer fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch and Whitefish.

We have three cottage units that are fully equipped for housekeeping as well as a general store, which is stocked with ice, snacks, groceries, fishing tackle, souvenirs and much more. The cottages all sleep up to eight guests and have large porches where you can look out over the lake. The cottages are also fully furnished with comfortable couches, beds and flat screen satellite TV. The cottages have full size kitchens and 3-piece bathrooms with hot and cold running water.

Biscotasing Lake's claim to fame is the fantastic Walleye fishing. Walleye can be caught in good numbers as well as larger trophies up to 10 pounds. It's an easy lake to limit out on. Anglers that know the lake well have been known to catch between 50 and 70 Walleyes on a good day. 15" to 18" is the most common size for Walleyes.

Biscotasing Lake is a big lake and produces big fish. The Northern Pike are plentiful in all sizes as they have a lot of Walleye, Perch and Whitefish to eat. If you target Pike you should catch quite a few in the 22" to 34" range. The lake is known to produce monsters up to 25 pounds.

The weeds are full of Perch and are easy to catch. Whitefish are just under the surface in the spring and are a ton of fun to catch with a fly rod.
